Silk Weaving- Digital library containing some of the core printed primary and secondary sources for the medieval and modern history of the British Isles, providing a detailed history of the silk textile industry in Britain in general and the County of Middlesex in particular, from the reign of Henry VIII until the 1860's treaty with France which allowed French silks to come in duty free.
