The Perception of the Image World- This thesis presents a new version of the old philosophical idea that understanding is a process that mirrors the world. This thesis proposes a broad perspective on image analysis, on how biological visual system are organized, on how they learn, and from there explores some ramifications on imagination, and on bio-cultural evolution.
