About Tiwi Islands Regional Council
Tiwi Islands Regional Council- Tiwi Island Local Government is responsible for Bathurst Island and Melville Island which are situated 80 km north of Darwin in the Arafura Sea. The total land mass is 8320 sq km and includes the Nguiu, Pirlangimpi, Milikapiti and Wurankuwu communities.
