Darwin Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre- Includes VAAC overview, ash detection, vaac hot topics, the latest advisory, and related links. Covered area includes Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and part of the Philippines, an area that has seen some of the biggest eruptions known to history. In addition, the Darwin Centre covers the relatively inactive area southward to the pole.
