About Walden Pond State Reservation
Walden Pond State Reservation- 333 acres surrounding Walden Pond, a 103-foot deep "kettle" hole pond is set aside from the 2,280 acres of Walden Woods. Site of Henry David Thoreau's dwelling from July 1845 to September 1847.
