About Manitoba Museum
Manitoba Museum- Includes a planetarium plus nine three-dimensional walk-through and interpretive galleries exploring the interrelationship of people and their environment. The most unique gallery is the Nonsuch Gallery -- A full scale replica of the 17th century sailing vessel that sailed into Hudson Bay in 1668-1669. The first trading voyage for what was to become the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC). Also very popular is the Urban Gallery -- Go back in time to Winnipeg during the 1920s. The remaining galleries include: Artic / Sub-Arctic, Boreal Forest, Earth History, Grasslands, HBC, Orientation, and Parklands.
