About South Plains Spotting Team
South Plains Spotting Team- A group of volunteers supporting the Lubbock Office of the National Weather Service. Covering a 12 county area across the South Plains of Texas, they provide important information on severe weather to the NWSFO. Communication is accomplished by a wide area VHF/UHF network of amateur radio repeaters.
