About Western Michigan Genealogical Society
Western Michigan Genealogical Society- This society was founded in 1954 and is located at the Grand Rapids, Michigan Public Library. Includes information on membership, meetings, publications, news, a message board and links. In addition to a quarterly magazine and an electronic newsletter, there are several on-line searchable databases including an index to Western Michigan newspapers and Kent County marriages.
