In Their Own Write- Online Native American documents, including the 1649 deed of land from Ousamequin of the Wampanoag Tribe, to the inhabitants of Duxbury, led by Miles Standish, Samuel Nash and Constant Southworth. The land was incorporated into the distinct township of Bridgewater.
