About Pond Island National Wildlife Refuge
Pond Island National Wildlife Refuge- Ten acre island refuge at the mouth of the Kennebec River by Popham Beach, part of the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge complex, supports nesting terns, common eiders and a variety of shorebirds, songbirds and raptors.
