About The Basic School (TBS)
The Basic School (TBS)- Provides newly commissioned or appointed officers with professional knowledge and leadership education to prepare them for duty as a company grade officer in the Operating Forces, with particular emphasis on the duties, responsibilities and warfighting skills required of a rifle platoon commander. Executive staff, command brief, instructor battalion, officer courses, handouts, preparation, special events, downloads, surveys, and spouse's corner.
