The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)- The accounting firm of the Department of Defense (DoD). DFAS is responsible for identifying and implementing finance and accounting requirements, systems and functions for appropriated and non-appropriated funds, as well as working capital, revolving funds and trust fund activities.
