Newcastle upon Tyne University- The Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology (INSAT) was established in 1999 at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. It is internationally recognized for its on-going work on MEMs-based bio-sensors, nanowires, and nanometrology.
